Community Service & Membership Committee (new page)

Purpose:

The Community Service and Membership (CS&M) Committee works to strengthen member benefits and to support and encourage social events that will build a sense of community in the SHHA.   

Background:

The Community Service and Membership Committee is a standing committee of the SHHA whose major responsibilities include

1. Encouraging community engagement through activities, events, programs, and projects to build a sense of community and enhance quality of life for Sandia Heights residents.
2. Fostering community awareness through the GRIT, the website, email communication, questionnaires, and other efforts as needed to keep the SHHA in touch with its members' needs, suggestions and opinions.
3. Devising, recommending, and implementing initiatives for welcoming new residents and for promoting an active, involved membership in the SHHA.
4. Organizing the annual meeting, and any other meetings as determined by the Board of Directors or by petition. in accordance with SHHA’s policies.
5. Monitoring SHHA Membership rolls and report membership statistics to the SHHA Board of Directors.

The CS&M is an all-volunteer committee.
